AGOSTINI-DI FOLCO (SUPER GT3) AND NEMOTO COSTA (SUPER GT CUP) WIN VALLELUNGA'S RACE-2
The other victories went to Zonzini-Russo (GT3), Sauto-Zanardini (GT Cup), Cerati-Ghezzi (Porsche 997), as Riccardo Pera claimed his sixth win in Cayman Cup.
The 5th round of the Italian GT Championship went into archives in Vallelunga with two highly spectacular races. The first race was reserved to classes Super GT3 and GT3 and Riccardo Agostini and Alberto Di Folco got on the top step of the podium, on the Lamborghini Huracan run by Antonelli Motorsport, proceeding the Ferrari 488 GT3 of Geri-Schir˛ (Easy Race) and the sister car run by Imperiale Racing driven by Bortolotti-Mul.

The victory of class GT3 went to Emanuele Zonzini and Matias Russo (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia), that led the Lamborghini Gallardo of Postiglione-Gagliardini (Imperiale Racing) and the Porsche GT3R of Luca and Nicola Pastorelli.

In Super GT Cup, the class of the Lamborghini Huracans, the victory went to Nemoto-Costa (Vincenzo Sospiri Racing) as they led Antonelli Motorsport's Kasai-Desideri and Ling-Liberati, while Sauto-Zanardini (Ferrari 458 Italia-Duell Race) proceeded Benvenuti-Demarchi (Imperiale Racing) and Trentin-Palazzo (Porsche 997-Drive Technology Italia) in GT Cup. The victory of GT4 went to Cerati-Ghezzi (Porsche 997-Autorlando), while an unbeatable Riccardo Pera (Ebimotors) claimed his sixth win of the season in Cayman Cup.

The championship classifications see the lead of Mapelli-Albuquerque (SGT3), Zonzini-Russo (GT3), Matteo Desideri (SGT Cup), Benvenuti-Demarchi (GT Cup), Cerati (GT4) and Pera (Coppa Cayman).

SUPER GT3: The second victory of the season for Agostini-Di Folco relaunched them in the classification. At the start Agostini slided behind poleman Schir˛ and was followed by Mapelli, Gattuso, Gai and Cerqui, while Bortolotti got stuck in the melee of the start. The Imperiale Racing's driver slipped down to P16 and started a good comeback race that allowed him to close in on the front runners in a few laps. Schir˛ on top built up a 3s advantage on Agostini, who was in turn followed by Mapelli and Gattuso, while Gai and Cerqui started a battle for P5. The race got inflamed again after the pit stops, when Schir˛'s co-equiper Geri confirmed the pairing's lineup leading Di Folco, who took over from Agostini, Mul, Comandini, Albuquerque, Venturi, Frassineti and Linossi. Venturi and Albuquerque started a long duel for P5 and Frassineti joined the party. At lap 25 Di Folco got the lead, while Frassineti tried to find his way past Albuquerque and Venturi. The duel continued until lap 27, when Frassineti and Venturi had a contact. Ombra Racing's driver had the worst and was forced to the retirement, while Venturi kept on going chasing Albuquerque. Mul got Geri's slipstream at lap 30 and started a duel for the second step of the podium. Easy Race's driver fended off the attacks though, as Albuquerque did on Venturi. At the flag, Di Folco did not have problems closing the race on top, leading Geri, Mul, Albuquerque, Venturi, Venturini, Linossi and Mugelli.

GT3: Solid and unquestioned victory for the Audi of Zonzini-Russo, that have been virtually always leading the race. The first stint saw the retirement of Federico Leo, while Zonzini got the lead proceeding Postiglione, Pastorelli, Galassi and Venerosi. Russo took over from Zonzini on the R8 at the the driver change, but the pairing slipped down to P2 due to the time handicap they had to serve. Postiglione's co-equiper Gagliardini was on the lead as Pastorelli was third leading Baccani. Russo got close to Gagliardini at lap 25 and overtook him for the lead, while Tempesta was slowed down by a puncture. At the flag, positions did not change and Zonzini's co-equiper at Audi took the third win of the season leading Postiglione-Gagliardini, Pastorelli-Pastorelli, Venerosi Baccani and Galassi-Tempesta.

Super GT Cup: The race of the Lamborghini Huracans has been quite exciting as always. The series welcomed the arrival of the Japanese Nemoto. The driver of Vincenzo Sospiri Racing had a good debut as he got on the top step of the podium at the end of an attack race. Poleman Desideri took the lead at the start, proceeding Costa, Liberati, Pellegrinelli, Necchi, D'Amico, Tanca and Liang. The Chinese driver passed Tanca at lap 6 and soon after he did the same on D'Amico taking P6. Positions on top changed after the round of pit stops as Costa's co-equiper Nemoto found himself on top getting the most of the higher handicap time of his rivals, while Kasai, second, proceeded Pellegrinelli. At lap 21 the driver of Imperiale Racing went off hitting the barriers at the Cimini corner, leaving P3 to Ling, who led Spinelli, Veglia, Zaugg, Baruch and Comi. The incident required the safety car deployment and the following red flag closed the race early with the victory going to Nemoto-Costa from Kasai-Desideri to Ling-Liberati.

GT Cup: Race-2 welcomed the first win of the season, a truly deserved one, for Sauto-Zanardini. Demarchi got the lead at the start, with Carboni, Zanardini, Palazzo, Curti and Deodati chasing him. Positions changed only at the drivers swap due to the time handicaps. Sauto, who took over from Zanardini, took the lead proceeding Benvenuti, Trentin, Curti, Durante and Romani. The red flag when twelve minutes were left handed the victory to Duell Race's pairing that led GT Cup title rivals Benvenuti-Demarchi and Trentin-Palazzo.

GT4 and Cayman Trophy: Another GT4 victory for Cerati-Ghezzi (Porsche 997-Autorlando), while in the Cayman Cup there are no words to define the season of the 16 yrs old Riccardo Pera, who claimed the sixth win in the eight races run so far. Ebimotors' driver dominated race-2 proceeding team mates Piccioli-De Castro and Mercatali-Cecotto (Dinamic Motorsport), while Matteo and Federico Zangari (CVG Motorsport) ended at the feet of the podium.
