| VALLELUNGA, BIAGI-COLOMBO (BMW Z4-GT3) SECURED THE VICTORY IN RACE 2 |
The two drivers of Roal Motorsport-BMW Italy got on the top step of the podium under a deluge and obtained the leadership in the provisional GT3 classification. In GT2, the victory went to Rocca Romanini (Ferrari 458 Italia), while Sanna-Stancheris (Lamborghini Gallardo) won in GT Cup.
06/05/2012 - After the Audi R8 LMS winning yesterday in race one, the second race of the weekend just ended in Vallelunga has been won by the BMW Z4 on a day characterized by heavy rain.
The pairing Biagi-Colombo took the car of the Munich House to the top step of the podium at the end of more than 50 minutes of the race and proceeded the Ferrari 458 Italia of Bernoldi-Lyons (Vita4One Team Italy)by 7.457 seconds and the Audi LMS of Sonvico-Montanari (Audi Sport Italia)by 38.407.
Thanks to the 35 points harvested, the color bearers of Roal Motorsport-BMW Italy got on top of the provisional classification of class GT3, enjoying a three points lead to Sonvico and Montanari.
In GT2, Rocca-Romanini (Ferrari 458 Italia-Black Team) repente the success obtained yesterday and obtained the leadership in the classification with full points, while in GT Cup, after the retirement of race one, the reigning champions Sanna-Stancheris (Lamborghini Gallardo-Team Imperiale)proceeded the Porsche 997 driven by Gaiotto-Magli and Donativi-Bellini (Antonelli Motorsport). In the classification Granzotto-Cicognani lead the 1st Division, while Donativi-Bellini are on top of the 2nd Division. |
