The two Italian drivers got on track at Vallelunga on the Ferrari F60 Formula One challenger, setting very interesting lap-times which showed once again the skills acquired during the Formula 3 Championship.
Next November the 9th at the circuit Piero Taruffi of Vallelunga, the prize test on the Ferrari F10 for the 2 drivers that gave spectacle this year in the Formula 3 season battling until the last race. The winner of the F3 Euro Series, Daniel Juncadella, will also join them.
The first race of the last round of the season of the Italian Formula 3 Championship and of the Italian Formula 3 European Series was won by the poleman Eddie Cheever that reduces his distance to the classification leader Riccardo Agostini. The JD Motorsport's driver is second ahead of the very good Mario Marasca (BVM). A contact at the start involved Maisano and Giovesi.
The Prema Powerteam's driver set the pace in both qualifying reducing his classification gap from Riccardo Agostini as the latter did not manage to place the JD Motorsport's Mygale higher than the fifth and sixth place. The front row of race one will be completed by Maisano, while Giovesi will start race 2 on the side of Cheever.
The driver of Prema Powerteam clocked the best time in Monza's free practice. Only 88 thousands shy his team mate Brandon Maisano. Riccardo Agostini on the Mygale of JD Motorsport is only a tenth slower.
The first title of the Italian Formula 3 European Series and the title of Italian Champion will be decided this weekend at the speed temple of Monza. The title fight involves Riccardo Agostini, Brandon Maisano and Eddie Cheever.
